Large restaurant with a three course brunch special. Came here with my family and we had made reservations beforehand online. The outdoor patio seating has misters and the overall vibe was casual. I had to tuna tower for a starter, the smoked salmon Benedict, and chocolate crepe. There are many choices and there are some vegetarian friendly choices as well. The food portions were all generous and we left feeling very full. Free public garage parking and exposed parking behind the restaurant available. Credit cards accepted. It is family friendly.

Delicious food, fantastic service! I came during restaurant week, tried the price-fixed menu; was not disappointed. I started with the Caprese salad. The tomatoes were so flavorful and rich; paired perfectly with the fresh mozzarella cheese and Peach balsamic dressing. I ordered a chocolate cookie martini and it was delicious! For my main, I had the chimichurri filet mignon, comes with roasted baby gold potatoes, carrots and green beans. The fillet was cooked to perfection and was made even tastier with the chimichurri. The roasted potatoes were crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The carrots and green beans were good as well. Also loved the fresh hot bread. For desert, I had the ice-cream cookie sandwich. The ice-cream was soft but the cookies were a little on the hard side; tasty but hard. I really enjoy the ambiance at Lulu's; bright and modern. The service was fantastic! Not only prompt but checked in a good amount to make sure we had all we needed. Loved that!

A trip to Palm Springs with my family is not complete without brunch at LuLu. A very laid back restaurant that screams California living. Spacious dining areas indoors and a large patio for outdoor dining. Our favorite is doing the 3 course brunch meal with mimosas (one order has 3 refills). Appetizers are flavorful and light. Our favorite entrees remain to be the linguine with shrimp, award winning pot pie (gorgeous and delicious crust) and the meatloaf. The tiramisu is also very good. Service can be slow if the place is busy, but they are attentive and professional. With the mimosa refills, we always leave this place full, content, and tipsy.

Lulu rocks! We had reservations and were seated in a great spot right away. This place is bright and colorful with things to see at every turn. There are colorful wooden "diamonds" and massive shaded chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, giant paintings of old movie stars, and fabulous mid-century style tables and chairs with colorful cushions. There is a u-shaped bar with stools all around. On one side there is a wall of big round, white and red vinyl booths. There is more seating up there circular stairs, one being a white and purple area with a giant purple painting of Elizabeth Taylor. This place is huge and clearly very popular! Our server, Gerald, was an absolute doll. He was friendly, cheerful, super knowledgeable and helpful. When I asked about the meatloaf, he knew the answer and was able to tell me that I my should try it with the tomato sauce instead of the mushroom gravy. When he brought out a big bowl of pink cotton candy to a guest at the next table for his birthday, Gerald noticed I had cotton candy envy, and told me he would bring me some, seeing as I was celebrating my birthday year. And he did!!!! My meatloaf, as was promised, was delicious, as were my mashed potatoes and green beans. How a place can make green beans so yummy, I don't know, but Lulu did. Hubby's chicken sandwich was enormous. I didn't taste it, but he said it was great. I did steal a couple of fries, and the were delish--tasted like fresh potatoes and not frozen. Our cocktails we're also really good. Everything came out fast. Lulu California Bistro is a stylish, fun restaurant that knows what it's doing with stylish, fun staff that know what they're doing. Love it!!!

Lulu California Bistro is located in the heart of Downtown Palm Springs. This is a large space with both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a large bar top. It was a beautiful 75 degree day so we chose the patio for the best ambiance. Our waiter Daryl was excellent from start to finish. We ordered the chicken lettuce wrap for an appetizer which were ok... the chicken was a bit dry. For our main entrees we chose the filet mignon and the Santa Fe panini . The steak was cooked perfect and the garlic butter topping was AMAZING, Great flavor! The panini was also yummy, light and crispy with a lot of flavor. We also had a mojito and blood orange margarita. Both drinks were light and refreshing, not too sweet !
